Load and delivery windows do not require waiting at home

When driving long distance, it is difficult to provide an exact schedule of arrival, as many factors can contribute to schedule changes. When scheduling your pickup or delivery, you will receive a date range referred to as a “window”*.
A common misconception is that someone must be waiting at the home during that entire time. Rest assured, our team will keep you updated every step along the way so you can go about your business and know exactly when to be available for the driver.
Here is the process so you will know what to expect:
Upon order confirmation, you will receive a date range for the driver to pick up your vehicle as well as a date range that you could expect delivery.
Our team will be in constant contact with the carrier/driver to determine date of arrival. The driver will know the date of arrival about 24 hours ahead of time. Our team will contact you so you will know to expect the driver the next day and will provide information on either a morning or afternoon arrival.
You will be contacted again when the driver is about an hour from the location. This allows you plenty of time to leave to meet them. Also, keep in mind that the driver can deliver to your home or office in many cases. So, if it’s easier to accept delivery at work, we can usually accommodate you.
See, we make it simple! No need to worry with schedules, or juggling errands, work, etc. Go about your day and rely on us to keep you updated.
*If your shipment is time sensitive, we do have additional services to meet those needs. We are happy to discuss other options with you.
