Taking A Swing At Hunger

This year, Move For Hunger is celebrating a decade of fighting hunger and feeding millions.  Through their fun and creative events, they offer many opportunities for relocation professionals to join their efforts.   

At AMSA, they kicked off their first annual Vanliner Open and challenged participants to Take A Swing At Hunger.  Acme Car Shipping accepted that challenge, taking home 1st and 2nd place.  Although it’s fun to give our team a high five as they top out the leaderboard, the spirit with which the Move For Hunger team tackles the issue of hunger is behind the post today.  

Move For Hunger works with relocation companies to deliver nonperishable food items donated from relocating families.  They raise awareness in the industry through fun and engaging events such as truck pulls, food drives and specialized functions, to continue providing year round support to local food banks.

We want to give a shout out to Move For Hunger, who makes it fun to do good!
